Ant and Dec are a pair of British television presenters who are best friends. They met as child actors on CBBC drama Byker Grove. They started their careers performing pop songs under the name PJ & Duncan. Their debut single, Tonight I’m Free, was part of the Grove Matrix storyline.
They launched their pop career in 1994. They released two albums under the name PJ & Duncan. They later moved onto music and debuted at number one with their song “Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble.”
Ant and Dec started dating in the early 2000s. However, Dec was reluctant to start a relationship because of work. They eventually went out for Valentine’s Day meals together, and they married Ali Astall in August of 2015. They have a daughter, Isla, who was born in July 2015.
They met again on I’m A Celebrity in 2018. Dec was co-presenting the show, while Ant was the host. They were the only people to appear on the show together. They were also featured on Desert Island Discs.
They also hosted the gameshow Red or Black?, which was created by Simon Cowell. The show was cancelled after the second series. They also hosted Text Santa. They also appeared on Family Fortunes. They won a Guinness World Record for most consecutive National Television Awards.
